1147553 2010-10-25 18:37:00 I just went to check "Givewayoftheday" and Avast went off and dropped the connection claiming a Trojan.

The only information I could gleam was JS: ScriptIP-inf [Trj] Connection aborted.

I tried again but Avast insists I ain’t going there. :D

I’ve never had any problem in the past, so I wonder if anyone else has the same problem today?

That's interesting. Still no go with Avast.

Could be interesting to see what Anti Virus programmes detect it and which don't and whether it is indeed a Virus. (Trojan)

1147556 2010-10-25 19:55:00 Nod32 doesnt complain here GameJunkie (72)
1147557 2010-10-25 19:57:00 Are you referring to the StaffLogger 4.6 - if so Nod32 says clean on the download.

Because its a logging program Avast may be detecting as spyware - which technically it is  OR you may have an infection on the PC ( just a thought) is it only that site that avast doesn't like ?

1147560 2010-10-25 21:01:00 Just to clarify matters.

I can’t get into the site at all, let alone see what the giveaway is.

Avast flashes up an alert whilst the site loads and closes the browser down immediately.

The browser is Firefox and right up to date as is Avast Free.

I browse the site every day just to check if there’s anything interesting and this is the first time I’ve encountered this.

In fact, this is the first time in 20+ years I’ve ever had notification of anything by an Antivirus Programme. :clap Actually, I’ll be a bit miffed if it turns out a false positive. :D

P.S. Yes, it's only that site Wainui, all others are fine at this stage.
