| 1148850 | 2010-10-30 19:07:00 | I'm setting up a computer with Windows 7 for my dad to use and would like to have Word Pad start with a different font size(14 instead of 11). Is there a way of doing this? Cheers! |

The workaround is to create a file, select 14 point font, enter only one space, save the file (e.g. as wpstart.txt) and then modify the short cut to open: wordpad "c:\documents and settings\USERNAME\my documents\wpstart.rtf" Of course replace USERNAME with your name or Dad's name as appropriate. And tell Dad to save with a new name each time. As a safety measure keep a backup copy of the template in case you forget how to create it again! |
