2010-04-17 05:43:00 Even Opera didn't think apple would accept their app, but their have. Any iphone/ipod touch users tried it yet? plod (107)
2010-04-17 06:16:00 Tried it, slow to start, slow to browse, pinch to zoom seems to have only 2 levels rather than being infinitely variable like safari.

Not really worth using atm

2010-04-17 07:26:00 And no apparent way to make it the default browser anyway - but no real surprise there.... johcar (6283)
2010-04-17 09:13:00 Fired it up and got "Opera Mini" up the top-left with the "loading data" swirly icon but thats it ... nothing else :( Chilling_Silence (9)
2010-04-17 09:26:00 I keep reading (in reviews) how fast it is. It seems to load a whole lot slower than Safari though, although I do like some features. I've removed it. Jester (13)
2010-04-17 10:02:00 At least 3 seconds to load compared to Safari of <0.5secs. Also slow to browse.

It's not replacing Safari yet by a long shot.

2010-04-17 10:42:00 Dunno what youse are smoking because it works brilliantly on mine. Much quicker to load, a smoother browsing experience and just better overall. xyz823 (13649)
2010-04-17 11:10:00 just wondering what firmware are you all running? nedkelly (9059)
2010-04-17 11:19:00 If it's anything like Opera Mini 5.0 on Android... then it's much better if you're working on a slow-as-hell GPRS connection, but otherwise the other browsers available leave it for dead, in both usability and speed. Erayd (23)
