A bit weird on the zooming though, as lagbort mentioned. But how do I make it my default browser!!! Or is that something that Apple would have put their figurative foot down over? |

| 877437 | 2010-04-17 20:13:00 | If it's anything like Opera Mini 5.0 on Android... then it's much better if you're working on a slow-as-hell GPRS connection, but otherwise the other browsers available leave it for dead, in both usability and speed. This is the story I have heard, something about opera mini actually going through operas own servers. |

| 877438 | 2010-04-17 20:38:00 | ...something about opera mini actually going through operas own servers. It does - that's the way Opera Mini has always worked, on any platform. The rendering is done on Opera's proxy farm, and the result is sent to your phone in a very compressed, custom format that requires almost no resources to display. It was basically designed for feature phones too slow and useless to render HTML on their own. |

| 877439 | 2010-04-18 21:31:00 | Just tried it again this morning. Insanely fast compared with Safari!! Posting from it now. Unfortunately I couldnt hit the "Remember Me" button, but Opera doea offer to remember your password which is nice :-) Edit boxes like this one dont seem to have the autocorrect feature which is a shame :( |
