2010-04-18 22:53:00 | I'm after a monitor, predominantly for Excel use - must be height adjustable, and have a reasonably good viewing angle. I'm a Viewsonic fanboy, so this (www.viewsonic.com.au) was my first thought. Any suggestions welcome!

2010-04-18 23:29:00 | Probably around $300 - $400 . . . I don't need anything too specialized in term of colour gamut or viewing angles; the main issue is an ergonomic once, hence the adjustability - can anyone comment on how easy (or not) the Viewsonic's are to adjust? | nofam (9009) | |
2010-04-19 00:36:00 | I have a VX1933W and it's really easy to adjust the angle of the monitor (just tilt it forward or back), it's probably slightly to small for what your after though. Theres a VX2433WM (24") for $344.80 at ascent. (ascent.co.nz) Can't comment on it exactly but it looks good (specs etc).

2010-04-19 00:36:00 | you could always get a separate monitor stand/arm if you can't find a monitor that suits. Then you could just get any monitor, separate it from its stand and attach it to the good stand. | utopian201 (6245) | |
2010-04-19 00:59:00 | I have a pair of VX2433WM's here at work & they're quite nice, but I was a little surprised that they are shorter than my old 1680x1050 screens (2 different ViewSonics) & seem smaller overall as a result. They are wide, though; on Excel 2003 with the default setup I can see cells A1 to AC55 on a new sheet. | MushHead (10626) | |
2010-04-19 01:49:00 | I've got a VX2260wm. But, I replaced the stand it was on with a heavier one. And so, it can be adjusted (so it can go up and down), and rotate | Speedy Gonzales (78) | |

We have three of these at work now, real nice No height adjustment tho, but a couple of reams of paper fixes that |

2010-04-19 02:47:00 | I got my Viewsonic VX2240w 22" LCD last year from Ascent. Really happy with it. Good warranty, and fast enough for gaming. I think it cost me around $350.
