1149401 2010-11-01 07:09:00 I have finally updated to Word & Excel 2010 which means I can ditch my venerable old Works Suite. However, this contains a very basic but efficient calendar with alerts, which I'll need to replace. Any recommendations? Doesn't need to be all bells and whistles, but efficient with pop-up alerts. Thanks. Shortstop (632)

If you use Thunderbird you can use the Lightning add on or the stand alone Sunbird.

1149406 2010-11-01 08:32:00 Thanks - will try Sunbird though their website indicates the project is over and there'll be no more versions. Shortstop (632)

As I stated above if you could read Sunbird.

Initial impressions favourable.

Cheers

Lightning is.
Where did you see that the project was over? Because it is so tied up with Lightning I don't see that happening.
