Phone line comes into jackpoint A, then is daisy chained to B and C, Jackpint A always does at 2 rings before the other phones start ringing, Why?

The phones did this before the recent extension C was added, but i am curious as to why.

Does it have anything to do with the large ringing capacitors in the jacks? all our phones are cordless

It does the same here, too. I usually hear it ringing before the phone nearest to me rings. I thought it was something to do your main jackpoint and then the rest in line.

Switch your phones around and the one that rang 1st will still ring 1st. It has nothing to do with jackpoint order or the capacitors. Your cordless phones almost certainly won't be connecting to those capacitors any way. All phones have some slight delay so that they don't chirp when other phones are taken on/off hook, cordless have the added complication of the radio connection. If all your phones are cordless do you have a plan B sorted for when the power is off?
