| 879564 | 2010-04-24 04:40:00 | Hi. We have a greenhouse that is now producing quite well. We are going away on holiday in May and haven't any rellies nearby that we can press into watering the plants each day (all legal plants, despite conjecture from two of the neighbours...). I have put in an irrigation system that will drip on each pot, but know nothing about the kind of timers you can buy to switch on and off at the hose tap. Do any of you have a system like that, and can recommend a timer? It needs to be battery powered or mechanical (i.e. not mains powered), and go on for about 30 mins each day (I think!) and then turn off the water. Thanks for any advice. |

Bunnings are a distance away from here but there is a Mitre10 sort of in the neighbourhood. I guess I need to throw myself on the mercy of the not too useful Mitre10 staff... I was trying to avoid that - I find that in the "local" store it is better if you know what you want, get in there and get out again so you don't have to deal with the sour faces of some of the staff. Mostly the male staff actually. |

She even put one my chooks in intensive care at her place when it looked a bit crook, chook was about 6 years old no spring chicken. It came right though. |
