880441 2010-04-29 23:28:00 I am saying at bus stops ie shelters where quite often some people have the choice of getting poisoned by ciggie smoke or standing in the rain.
This shouldnt happen one day I am going to smack one of these people in the head.

Totally agree with you here.

Any smokers should be courteous to the non-smokers wherever they are. There is a reason the other people don't smoke, they don't like it, so they definitely don't want your smoke hanging around.
Don't hang around door ways, stand up-wind from people etc etc. Just move out of the way and enjoy your sweet sweet cancer somewhere away from the non-smokers :)

Same applies to ciggie butts - why do most people just toss them on the ground like a bunch of littering bastards? I don't go throwing my water bottle on the ground when I'm done with it...

880442 2010-04-29 23:34:00 Or non smokers can take a step or two? And all people can just stop littering? I wish fat people would stop wearing tight clothes, but I won't lobby against them. rob_on_guitar (4196)
880443 2010-04-29 23:38:00 I hardly ever drink these days so am not worried about price.
BUT they've upped the price of my cigarettes. That's a different matter.
I have found a way to beat the b******s.
Yesterday I closed a bank account that contained money I had put away for my funeral. The money will be spent on smokes:clap. Then when I die the govt. can meet the cost of my disposal.
I have no living relatives and no next of kin
And if I'm still aroud next election I'll vote for Winston's mob.

To be precise JJ, you mean the tax payer will pay for departure tax.

None the the less I am in favour of you proposal.

And may you have many flights to come.

880444 2010-04-29 23:42:00 May as well put the price of petrol up to $10.00 per litre perhaps.

Less people will drive as a result thus saving lives.

Quite right Sweep, the logic of these people suggests they are all members of the cretins club!

Possibly. But putting the price up is going to save lives is it not?

Excise tax should also be imposed on Big Macs, KFC, Butter and etc.

No need to - there's millions of them there already. The council takes away heaps of them from parks weekly at our expense. If people are gullible enough to buy bottled water, I suppose expecting them to have learned how to use rubbish bins is stretching the laws of probability too far.

I always wondered who squandered their vote on those guys . I suspect the Greens are the pro smoking party . . .
