| 1149837 | 2010-11-04 01:01:00 | ....I unplugged the modem and he said there was static. At that point nothing was in except this phone. It wont be the modem then :cool: Is the problem worse after a heavy rain?? I can offer my own experiences with intermittent static at my house. It was the outside lines ,every time. I have had Telecom come & fix them several times over the past 5 years,but the static allways comes back eventually. Not quite as often as yours by the sound of it. Also had an issue with an ph extension socket with issues from the damp- even tho there was no ph connected on it. |
