If you manage to get hold of a prototype, you will get huge numbers to your blog. Many of the personal earlier bloggers (Problogger, John Chow, Shoe Money, Grizz, etc) that got in first, are optimized for thousands of search phrases about how to blog for money, blogging tips, etc. Some bloggers are now heavily focusing on keyword research to find profitable search phrases - as most single/2 word phrases are too competitive to blog about to make money. So they try find a niche based on search phrases (> 3 words) without much competition to find a profitable niche. Then possibly build a huge empire of blogs. I have conversed in forums/blog comments where bloggers are running about 100 to 200 blogs sites to make significant money. Then they may go deep/authoritative on their most visited blogs (i.e. plenty more posts). Too much work, unless you buy software (niche market finder is the rave in USA currently) of if they find profitable under served niche early. |
