Yeah, that spec looks almost exactly the same as mine.
Havn't had much epxerience with "re-certified" products but reading the comments, it sounds pretty good to me. Bear in mind that the warranty is only for 6 months compared to 12 months (generally) with a brand new unit.

Wouldn't you be better off with Ubuntu Netbook version or similar? - designed to make best use of the small screen especially the lack of height.

Quite likely but I can't stand Ubuntu. Might try Meego at some stage to see what it is like.
