1149586 2010-11-02 02:50:00 OK I just created another spreadsheet and I get Labels on the Chart as expected like Nov-2010 etc.

Either the location is not set correctly in Region, CP or when you do the custom mask you are changing the location there.

Can you clarify your data entry
I have check Control Panel and settings are correct NZ dates correct etc.

I have just redone it
I typed "OCT 2005" etc DID NOT format but checking states format custom mmm.yy
I tried it both ways Dates in the row then dates in the column

Select and column chart gives x axis as Jan 2005 etc

1149588 2010-11-02 21:38:00 Just found something else.
If I go to select data and switch row/column it now says OCT 2005 etc
correctly

So Its only the x axis !!

1149589 2010-11-02 23:19:00 Perhaps, if you want, you could send me a PM and I'll give you an Email address.

You could then attach your spreadsheet if it's not sensitive.

I can't duplicate your results on my PC.

1149590 2010-11-03 00:23:00 Also re Printer.

Check the printer properties of the default printer for the paper size. Should be set to A4 rather than Letter.
