1149485 2010-11-01 20:33:00 Have you tried a different wireless standard? If you are on 802.11n, you could try using 802.11b/g instead.
Go to the device manager then your wireless card's properties > Advanced > IBSS Mode.
Check your router's wireless configuration to ensure it is set to the same one you are changing your computer's wireless card to.

1149487 2010-11-03 02:51:00 I'm surprised no one has mentioned this, but one rule I always was told was you should shut your router off once every 24 hours or so. This will clear out the days cache load, and will give it a bit of a rest. It should also help with your internet dropping off. dpDesignz (15919)

Why would you want to clear the cache?, caching help speed up page loading....I think perhaps you have been given wrong information.
