1149411 2010-11-01 18:02:00 Pimero is a good program, and its free. It has the look of Outook 2007 but the feel of 2003. The only reason I've stayed with Outlook 2003 is that it's easier to interface with Windows Mobile. (Easier = without hassle for me). Worth a try.

1149412 2010-11-02 04:16:00 Thanks for Pimero suggestion, Walone. No Gary, didn't want Outlook. And Mikebartnz, as I stated above (can't YOU read) the Sunbird website said the project is finished.

Cheers

1149413 2010-11-02 04:53:00 I think that Pimero didn't work properly with XP, just re read your post and you don't say what OS so thought I better post the warning gary67 (56)
1149414 2010-11-02 05:14:00 What email client do you use? Greven (91)
1149415 2010-11-02 07:22:00 OS is WIN 7 and I use Windows Live Mail. Shortstop (632)
1149416 2010-11-02 08:33:00 I don't know why they removed the reminders from Windows Live Mail. I think there is a way to enable Windows Calendar in Win7 Greven (91)
1149417 2010-11-02 08:36:00 If you use Firefox there is a brilliantly simple little add-in called ReminderFox (http://reminderfox.mozdev.org/). johnd (85)
1149418 2010-11-03 07:16:00 Sunbird is good to use but you only see the reminders when you open the calendar. I'm used to pop-ups on startup Shortstop (632)
1149419 2010-11-03 08:28:00 So put Sunbird in startup then? Snorkbox (15764)
1149420 2010-11-03 09:24:00 OS is WIN 7 and I use Windows Live Mail.
If you download the Latest Windows Live Essentials 2011 Download (explore.live.com), you could possibly use your Live mail which contains a calender, reminders etc. Screen shot / Location (www.imagef1.net.nz) Personally I use outlook not Live mail.

There may also be another option - post #6 (www.vistax64.com) no idea if it works or not, have not tried it.
