879382 2010-04-24 02:06:00 I can't even install the beta. It goes to step 2 then says something about Tp: download thread exceptional.

Absolutely no idea how to fix this

I even tried uninstalling office 2007.

Oh man. not another fail piece of software

Ha blaming the software when you are trying the uncompleted version ie Beta.

Downloaded from TechNet and installed fine here. Haven't had a chance to really use it yet.

879383 2010-04-24 02:21:00 The beta version is like this. I just hope the final version won't be a fail Ninjabear (2948)
879384 2010-04-24 02:36:00 In the end I think I'll still stick to OpenOffice and Google Docs.... especially since they're free Agent_24 (57)
879385 2010-04-24 02:58:00 Why is it showing up as 3GB on Bittorrent?

More than likely FAKE - as per the link I posted the x86 = 650MB & x64 718, even if both were combined - that doesn't equal 3GB here are the actual (www.imagef1.net.nz) finished sizes.

879386 2010-04-24 06:01:00 On my netbook I can use Fn-F6 instead :p

Might stick with Office 2007 for now, until I see a killer feature.
You have Vista - why do you want a killer feature?

Has Vista's suicide feature failed now? ;)

879387 2010-04-24 08:29:00 My netbook runs XP ;)

And I'm not talking about Windows, I'm talking about Office. Office 2007 does what I want.

The 3GB versions are the select versions, no fakes. They only give you the option to install one app at a time though. Handy if you just want Word or Excel etc and not the whole suite.

The Pro/Enterprise versions are the usual CD-sized .iso.

They are not ISO's either, they are .exe files.AND PIRATED.
