| 1151005 | 2010-11-08 01:59:00 | Hi All, If I get my Gmail account to fetch a pop email account and get my Outlook 2010 to collect mail from Gmail (via pop), would this provide SPAM filtering? ;) Cheers. |

| 1151006 | 2010-11-08 02:02:00 | Should do. Gmail will probably still stop spam, when it arrives in Gmail. Before it gets forwarded. I've forwarded my gmail to my normal ISP email. Never had a prob with spam coming through as well | Speedy Gonzales (78) | ||
| 1151007 | 2010-11-08 02:06:00 | I get my mail from Gmail via POP to my Outlook 07 and yes Gmail still has the best spam filter, however I do go into Gmail once a week and check my spam folder | gary67 (56) | ||

It works perfectly and Gmail's spam filter is very good. It pays to log on via web mail every now and again to clear the spam folder. I have only had one false positive in several years and no spam that I can remember. |
