| 1150949 | 2010-11-07 09:44:00 | If you've recently bought a Argosy HV335T portable movie player from Firstin then check the power supply. Mine arrived with a 12V 1 Amp power supply and was very intermittent when I put in a 1.5TB Hard Drive. I could either run it as a USB disk-drive or a video player without a disk-drive. I replace the power supply with a 12V 2 Amp one and bingo; the thing works as advertised. According to Argosy.tw the items are suppose to ship with a 12V 2.5 Amp power supply which would have been replaced for one with a NZ mains plug. (obviously with the wrong current rating). Am going to contact Firstin tomorrow. |
