1150869 2010-11-07 03:03:00 Further to my enquiry about tinyurls. All I want to do is to see the content of them. If, as some say, you have got to type in the full name, what use are they? I am looking at a Net Guide and there are several tinyurls listed with a synopsis of what each is, but there is no full ISP given. ticktock (2467)
1150870 2010-11-07 03:19:00 I'm not quite sure what your question is asking (can you clarify?) - but the point of tinyURL services is to allow you to enter the short URL into your browser, and be automatically redirected to the longer URL associated with it. Erayd (23)
1150871 2010-11-07 03:58:00 Many thanks Erayd. It works! I don't recall seeing that it has to be entered into the browser. Maybe a tip in the PC World would not go astray. Some others may have the same trouble because of the users I have asked, most say they can't get Tinyurls to work, so "forget about them." ticktock (2467)
1150872 2010-11-07 04:17:00 here's another tip - all URL's get entered into a browser :p SoniKalien (792)
