1150519 2010-11-05 06:21:00 Just burnt a load of pics to DVD (3.5 gig),

They don't appear to be able to be watched on TV via DVD player, is this normal?

Thanks lads.

1150523 2010-11-05 20:51:00 Cicero ... have a look at your DVD User Manual ... or Google if you've misplaced it ... find out what formats it will recognise and make a disc accordingly.

My son has a HDMI DVD player and it reads a lot more that my old junker.

1150525 2010-11-05 20:58:00 You can try Windows Live movie Maker (explore.live.com) - it can take any pictures you want, and save it in several formats, including DVD. You can set the transitions, effects, timing etc.

You may already have it if you have W7 & Live essentials 2011 -- In W7 click start, type in movie -- see if it shows it.

1150526 2010-11-05 21:08:00 Also when you burnt the DVD did you finalise it? If not then there will be a fair chance it won't be read on a stand alone TV connected DVD player. Snorkbox (15764)
1150527 2010-11-05 21:20:00 I read on a DVD forum once, you can display the firmware to display version, date, etc by pressing a combo of buttons. Then Google the info to see if it supports jpg's. Some take the risk to flash up the firmware. kahawai chaser (3545)
