| 880872 | 2010-04-29 03:22:00 | Quite right, Trev, which is why I always record the news so I can skip over all that, so called, "in depth" reporting. A much better way of watching the news. I think that TV1, in particular, could shorten the news hour to half an hour and still fit all the stories in, minus all those boring talking heads. I imagine that if you have an hour to fill and not very much to fill it with they need to make each story as long as they can. I'm certain that the news would be much more palatable (and shorter) if you and me were running it! |

There is always a ton of international news they could use that is more interesting, but its like they try and fill a NZ content quota or something. TV 1 & 3 even spend like 20 minutes on sport every night often when there is barely anything worth mentioning, absolute snore fest. |
