880771 2010-04-28 21:02:00 Hi, we had one of our cars broken into that was parked in the drive way overnight, we didn't hear it . The engine bonnet was also opened .

Like to know some suggestions for a camera .

Does not have to be fancy, ie . , hooked to the VCR or computer would be fine or even a portable handycam . Resolution shouldn't be an issue these days but looking for low light .

Optional - motion detection .
Just something I can stick to the window beside the curtains .

Cheers .

Yes but the car is not worth more than $750 or $500 and the other is bought for 5k prob now at 3.5k.

Not sure if is this is the one the guy used, but http://www.vitamindinc.com/ looks very promising - take a look at their demo videos when you get a chance.

880779 2010-04-29 08:46:00 Nomad. You could pick up an obvious camera cheaply that does not take pictures. Sweep (90)
