| 1150846 | 2010-11-13 09:52:00 | After changing password and making it so that it doesn't broadcast it's name I can't access the router setup menu asks for authentication but seems it's been changed again and ideas now?:badpc::badpc::badpc: I find on mine, set up a password for wireless first. Enable it. Maybe rename SSID. Leave SSID broadcasted. Jump onto your computer access this SSID and save the changes etc... Then lastly go into modem router setup and disable broadcasting of SSID. But from what I seen in my area, there might only be 2 - 5 routers that I see broadcasted and all of them are passworded. I found someone's N series was more powerful than my own G series :D Even when my laptop is just a G series. |
