880944 2010-04-30 00:57:00 Just tried it On FF - did the same at first, had to log back in, then went into Ccleaner, noticed there was a couple of new cookies from PF1 - told Ccleaner to ignore them, then had to move over one called doubleclick.net -- Then it stayed logged in. wainuitech (129)
880945 2010-04-30 00:58:00 I am guessing that something did not go right seeing as there is more downtime tonight nedkelly (9059)
880946 2010-04-30 01:06:00 I still don't see any differences .

No ads .
Slow loads - sometimes minutes instead of instantly
Same password(s) and
It runs well only in FF .

Oh, and if I try to VIEW or GO ADVANCED - I never get anywhere .

Many times I cannot get back fast enough to make the EDIT time limit . Almost this time too!

Like said - same-o, same-o .

880947 2010-04-30 01:32:00 PF1 went slow at 11-35pm today. idg.co.nz and machine.fairfaxbm.co.nz seemed to be the problem. Both in IE8 and FF.

That's because there's multiple PressF1 domains and your password isn't saved across them.

I get notification emails and when I click the link, it then "forgets" my password for pressf1.co.nz, I believe because it tries to use pressf1.pcworld.co.nz

That happens regardless of which browser I use ...

880949 2010-04-30 01:50:00 Hmm just seems strange, its only happened since updating the server or whatever they did. Before this happened. It never asked for the username / or password before Speedy Gonzales (78)
880950 2010-04-30 02:50:00 If I get an email notification of a PM and click on the link in the email, I have to log in. Always been like that.

880951 2010-04-30 03:56:00 ice road trucker - as a newbie to this forum can you give more details about spam issues?

stu161204 - thanks for welcome.

nedkelly - we switched over but 'provider' difficulties meant we had to switch back. should be all go tonight - we did do server upgrade during downtime & 'off the record' hope to get new mega grunty server replacement shortly.

surferjoe46 - let me know what your experience is like in around 3 hours.

thanks everyone.
