Hello again, my friend is having a bit of an issue with his soundcard. He has two sound cards, the first one is a Creative X-fi XtremeGamer but whenever he runs it he gets a problem with the Ha20x2k.sys driver. It will tell him that the computer needs to be restarted. So, we took the card out of the computer and it hasn't crashed so we can assume that the problem is the card. Now he's got a second card (Creative Sound Blaster Live 24-bit) that seems to be compatible with XP. I'm having trouble finding those drivers and whenever he tries to install something i find it tells him that he's alright got a higher driver. My question is how can he completely remove the older drivers and does anyone know a good place for me to find new drivers for the SoundBlaster Live? |
