1150555 2010-11-05 17:47:00 Every time Thunderbird gets updated it is like a different program.

Is there any way to save my settings so I won't have to spend hours getting it back to the way I like it?

I want to save settings on the same computer.

1150558 2010-11-05 18:32:00 How are you doing the updates.
If you go to Help in Thunderbird and select Check for Updates and let it update no settings should change.

1150560 2010-11-06 04:20:00 If you are using add-ons from non-Mozilla authors then you can expect some problems occasionally. Although many authors do try to keep their add--ons up to date with changes to the basic T'Bird there's a risk that some authors may be on holiday or otherwise engaged when there's a new version.
However, I've got several add-ons and updates generally don't worry me.

That should do it. Thanks.
