| 1150456 | 2010-11-05 02:59:00 | Hi all, for the past couple days a friend of mine has been having some issues with his computer while trying to run World of Warcraft and sometimes while the game isn't running . Quite frequently, he'll get a bluescreen of death which reports the following exception : PAGE_FAULT_IN_NON_PAGE_AREA We've tried disconnecting his video card to see if it was a driver problem, we've tried reinstalling the client, he has tried changing PSU (because at first we thought he might not have enough power to run his card) . Also, occasionally while in-game, he'll get a a critical error having to do with textures and immediately after he will bluescreen . I'm thinking the only option at this point is to wipe the HDD and do a clean install . His video card is an NVIDIA Geforce 9800 GTX+ and he's running Windows 7 . Here is the computer he purchased if you guys need additional information : . tigerdirect . ca/applications/SearchTools/item-details . asp?EdpNo=6573641&Sku=S445-10102" target="_blank">www . tigerdirect . ca It's really getting irritating at this point, so it would be good if someone could shine some light on the situation :) |

| 1150457 | 2010-11-05 03:33:00 | Try running chkdsk /r from a command prompt. Click start, type in CMD, right click run as administrator, type in the command. if that doesn't work, open Computer, right click the drive, Properties/Tools/ Check Now -- you will get a message saying it cant run and to run on next restart - Agree and reboot... let it run. |
