| 882124 | 2010-05-04 05:00:00 | I think she was on Nip Tuck recently in NZ, where she plays the mother to her real life daughter (?) who acts on that show. I think her brother Corin Redgrave(?) acted in NZ in the 70's in the NZ history/maori TV series "The Governor". Right family, wrong sister. The one who played the mother in Nip/Tuck is Vanessa Redgrave. She is/was better known than Lynn, partly because of her beauty probably, partly because she did much more film work, but also because she became an out there political activist. She troubled my youthful dreams with her roles, particularly in Morgan: A Suitable Case for Treatment. Whwoar! Corin Redgrave did indeed play Governor Grey in The Governor. Their parents, (Sir) Michael Redgrave and Rachel Kempson were highly regarded as actors of their generation. Older people on this forum will have seen Michael Redgrave in multitudes of films, many of them war movies. Never particularly liked him myself, but what would I know? |
