| 1151737 | 2010-11-09 21:38:00 | My Asus Eee 701 running xp proSp3 + Chinese with 2 gb RAM and no swap file. Yesterday I left it on standby for a while, and when I tried to revive it had no response. Switched it off by holding the button down, tried to start, nothing, no memory read or screen! Removed power plug and battery. Held start button down for a few seconds, replaced battery and power plug. All back to normal! This computer never gives trouble, so what do you suppose was going on? |

It could have been some kind of overload circuit protection cut out, in that case it would not have worked until removing battery and power adapter and plugging back in. |
