| 882846 | 2010-05-06 10:34:00 | Hi, son just bought a PS3 and has set it up ok, it is connected via wireless to my modem/router. All goes fine no probs so far. What I would like to know is, does it draw much power when not in use, eg. it is off but in standby mode? (red power light is on) LL :) |

So I have had a master switch built into my home entertainment system which shuts everything down completely when I walk out of my HT room. Dunno if it was true or not but I'm happy shutting everything down with the master switch when I'm not using it! |

| 882854 | 2010-05-08 11:58:00 | I wouldn't worry about the power usage, it's the data consumption. I forgot to strangle it's connection a month or so ago & it sucked down 1.4Gigs in a day. Being as though there is no contribution to the cost of running it I let it run full speed for about 2 hours a day. | Phil B (648) | ||
