882730 2010-05-13 05:22:00 Yeh cutting with hacksaw . Nothing like using your hands . :)

Not a lot of mads yet but am modding it . The only differant parts of the piranha to the sidwinder is the rear from the seat back .

Yeh cant wait to have it running and test it out . :)

That looks like the GS-750 engine about 1980 or so . Close? If so, they were powerhouses - some I could beat with my Kawasaki, some I couldn't .

Is the air flow going to be a problem? I notice it's a Piranha frame, but it looks 'way different .

I also see a hacksaw - don't tell me you're hand-cutting those joints!

If so, very nice and you have a vary good eye-hand coordination . Propos on the ear protection too - wish I had done that when I was tossing my bod into the flames at work all those years .

Those CV-style carbs can be a problem but they are very smooth and keep a good mixture at all times - when they are sync'd and running good . I think they are the reason why I could beat some of the 750s with my 650 KZ and not the others . You're prolly too young to remember the Kawasaki ad:

"Float like a butterfly; Sting like a Z . "

I know the name Piranha, but I don't ever remember seeing an actual frame in the bones like that - has it been heavily modded?

All in all, very nice . Wear a helmet .
