| 1152246 | 2010-11-12 06:42:00 | I am on a FS/128k plan . Some time ago, I had maybe 6Mbps, now it says I have 11Mbps . The guys are laying out fibre optic but we haven't signed up to it . . . And, I have a temporary new modem which is ADSL2+ not sure if that matters when I am on a FS/128k . Before I had ADSL1 modem . |

The old modem was only capable of ADSL 1 speeds, the new one can do ADSL2+ which is faster . You have to change your modem to match the technology . Bit like getting on the motorway with a horse and cart and complaining you aren't doing 100kph . |
