| 1152050 | 2010-11-11 22:10:00 | Fax sheet set up using latest version of Word. Document emailed to my computer and then sent on to another computer which uses a later version of Word. The fax sheet then defaults to riginal settings and everything goes skew wiff. Both computers using Windows XP with different versions of Word.Question: Is is possible (or not) to prevent this happening please? | dianne pierce (13385) | ||
| 1152051 | 2010-11-11 22:44:00 | Later versions or Word have a compatibility option - <Save As> Word 97-2003 if you're using Word 2007 or 2010 and the other machine is Office 2003 or earlier. It may not be a perfect fix, but it's probably as close as you'll get... EDIT: There are some formatting items that don't seem to save very well to an earlier version of Word, but your later version of Word may indicate what will change.... |

| 1152052 | 2010-11-11 23:18:00 | Microsoft has a comparability pack that may help. There are also fax to word add ons that may help. | kahawai chaser (3545) | ||
