1153199 2010-11-15 22:45:00 Copy the files to the hdd / to a folder then play it? Speedy Gonzales (78)
1153200 2010-11-16 00:52:00 Thanks Speedy but it does not appear to be that easy!! Have copied a DVD to a folder but WMC can’t find it. How do you suggest you copy a DVD to a HDD Folder?
Thanks

1153205 2010-11-18 00:37:00 Quite simply I don’t believe at this stage it is possible to store and play (using chapters) non protected DVD’s on a PC?! Or if it is possible – it is @#$% difficult……….WHY? If someone can prove me wrong – will be delighted! stuffed (1469)
1153206 2010-11-18 02:13:00 There are many "pay" programmes out there that will allow you to do that.

Just cough up the dosh :) :)

1153207 2010-11-18 02:21:00 Dump the contents of the DVD to a folder on the hard disk. (eg:
...\My Videos\DVD\<movie name>\VIDEO_TS

In WMC go Tasks -> Settings -> Media Libraries.

From there, you want to set up a library for Movies -- follow the onscreen instructions. From the example above, select the folder "DVD" to add.

Once you have added the folder(s) you wish, any DVD's you add within it/them will show up in the Movies library in WMC.

Remember to store them on the hard disk in structure "<movie name>\VIDEO_TS" (the same structure as the DVD itself
