1152592 2010-11-13 13:06:00 As I'm trying to set up my hp1410 printer/scanner on my system, I received this message that says missing "slbcsp.dll" and "sccbase.dll"

Can anyone help?

1152593 2010-11-13 19:16:00 Welcome to PF1 :)

What version OS Windows do you have ?

Are you using the latest drivers from HP ?

There is a fix on This forum (forums.cnet.com) for the same problem using XP.

Mind you the guy was using a pirated copy of XP, but the fix may still work if yours is legit.

1152594 2010-11-19 13:31:00 That means the dll file needed by the application cannot be found on your system. It doesn’t necessarily mean your system doesn’t have it but it’s possible the actual dll name just don’t match the name of the dll as specified by the application. It’s also possible that the dll file is there, but existing on a different location so the application couldn’t find it. I’ve read from this article about [ur=http://www.pcperformancetools.com/how-to-repair-dll-errors-or-replace-missing-dlls.html]missing dll scanner[/url] that there’s a tool that can help locate and repair dll errors on your system. maricartridge (16076)
