2010-11-12 22:23:00 | I have a limited budget and am looking at replacing the speakers I was given ages ago (ty Metla :)) Budget is less than $100 (actually being gifted them for work done) so I have a choice between Logitech, or Microlab All I require is 2.1 for music (mainly mp3). Not looking for high quality obviously. Anyone have any recommendations on the above brands? The only real requirement: I do like a bit of volume Thus far; kind of liking the look of these: www.computerlounge.co.nz www.computerlounge.co.nz www.computerlounge.co.nz

2010-11-12 23:13:00 | My friend has some older Logitech 2.1 speakers & they have both good sound quality and good volume. I know a few people with various Logitech speakers & they all love them, so I would recommend going with logitech. | Greven (91) | |

Personally I don't rate the audio quality of Logitech very highly, Those speakers I gave you sounded better to my ear when new then the logitech speakers I'm currently running. Having said that, I do have to remind myself they are all just PC speakers and none of them are going to give stunning results, not helped by the crap quality audio files everyone loves. |

2010-11-13 01:28:00 | I have a LOGITECH Z523 Speaker System hooked up to our PVR and found it excellent value for money. Bass is pretty loud, so I usually have it wound back pretty much and the twin speakers sound good too. My wife agrees and her hearing is a lot better than mine. They seem to come up pretty regularly on special at various outlets for $100 | PPp (9511) | |

2010-11-13 09:50:00 | I've got the X230. Its an alright setup, though in no way does it come anywhere close (by about a trillion miles) to what the reviews claim, Both the professional and user reviews are all so far out of whack as to be meaningless dribble.
