1152329 2010-11-12 21:08:00 The mac is usually xx-xx-xx-xx-xx-xx. I think its the physical address under the LAN properties

What version of windows is on it??

1152330 2010-11-12 23:26:00 win 7 hp x64.
The first one is the gigabit lan's mac addy.
The 2nd is the wifi 'n' mac addy, which i'm using now.
Before I enterted the mac addresses into the router config, the default in the box to enter the addy was 00:00:00:00:00:00
so I used the colons instead of hyphens.

1152332 2010-11-13 01:46:00 Well it's still allowing my laptop to connect, though I'm not yet sure if it's blocking connections from other devices.
Thanks :)
