2010-11-12 09:19:00 | If I click on the url link in FF (in a message / thread), It'll only bring up the link that I've copied and pasted. Like www.nzherald.co.nz If I want to type something in, I have to submit it then edit it then go into advanced, so it looks like this (http://www.nzherald.co.nz/). I have to delete what I've copied/ pasted, and paste it again Whereas, if I do the same thing in Opera, it works the first time, ie:this (http://www.nzherald.co.nz/). I dont have to click on edit then click on advanced to change it I thought I had stuffed something up, when I changed my settings. Obviously not, because the above doesnt happen in Opera, only FF. And it only happens on this forum (other forums are fine with FF) I've also just noticed everytime I edited a message in FF, the bottom line went up. With Opera it doesnt. It stays on the bottom

2010-11-12 20:26:00 | Many times, didnt work. FF is no longer installed. Since it got annoying, having to do everything twice, just to post a link | Speedy Gonzales (78) | |
2010-11-12 21:03:00 | Did it work on earlier versions of firefox? what os are you using? | jareemon (5207) | |
2010-11-12 21:10:00 | No it didnt work on FF. I thought it was a setting in the forum. But, when I changed to Opera, it worked properly. So, it must be a FF prob., Vista x64 | Speedy Gonzales (78) | |
2010-11-12 23:29:00 | Vista x64? Why don't you just use windows ME, it's more stable :p Does it work fine in IE8?

2010-11-12 23:58:00 | Vista x64 isnt a prob. It works fine, and if I had money I would get Win7 x64 Only good thing with Win7, is the tuner works in Media center. And I can stream it to the Xbox. In Vista it doesnt (unless its OEM, it isnt, and because Vista MC doesnt support the tuner format (MP4). And the bad thing about Win7 is once I record something with the tuner its out of sync. Its fine in Vista. So both have their quirks Havent tried IE8..

2010-11-13 01:44:00 | unless its OEM, it isnt. I think we all wish we had OEM windows  Try IE8 and let us know how you get on. I've had problems with win 7 MCE, with it adding files to the library. Sometimes it will add everything fine, other times it wont add anything. So I don't use it at all.:badpc:

2010-11-13 01:53:00 | Nope. Doesnt work in IE8 either. It does the same as FF. You have to edit it then go to advanced then paste it again | Speedy Gonzales (78) | |
2010-11-13 02:49:00 | Actually the same thing happens on links on different sites. If I click on a link in Opera, it opens another tab with the linked site. In FF, it doesnt. Unless you right mouse on the link and select open in new tab. Then it will | Speedy Gonzales (78) | |
