| 884852 | 2010-05-14 09:02:00 | Pctek has been pursuing a certain job I was called about. They cancelled it because I was not fast enough getting here. Then they re-opened it, called me in again, then they cancelled it again because I would not have started at the same time as other new people. Then it was on again - oh hang on, no that was an outsourced place instead....... Then, supposedly it's back on again......sigh. Meanwhile I miss another excellent one because, I was too slow getting here. Then another great one but no, I miss because I had not had experience with precisely, exactly that product. Nicest rejection I've ever had but hey, second place doesn't get a prize. Meanwhile staying with son is about as cheap as staying in a motel. Yes, not. |

| 884858 | 2010-05-14 22:42:00 | We are fortunate that going to Auckland has not changed the happiest and most positive person we have on this forum. If it were not for the occasional cheer germ found on our forum, where would we be? How would we cope? It is an example to us all. Keep up that positive attitude no matter where you are in this small country of ours and things will work out well. Thanks for your inspiration. I feel soooo much better. |

Getting messed about for the interview is a good indication of their attitude towards their staff, I for one would not want to work for such a place. Having said that, I can also relate to the ANY JOB, NOW situation :) Good Luck. |

| 884860 | 2010-05-15 00:33:00 | If it were not for the occasional cheer germ found on our forum, where would we be? How would we cope? Cough :D Might I add that Monday Laughs emanates from Auckland, as did the 200 episodes of WFTWE (Word for the Weekend) that preceded it. Auckland is a happy place to be, once you adjust to not being someplace else and realise that all that went before was not just sunshine and laughter, but a mix of good and bad times. Cheers Billy 8-{) :) Go on, do a Forum search for WFTWE, you know you want to.....:devil |
