I was using Outlook 2003 and file size was not over 2GB when I converted, but I had a heap of old message files dating back to 2001-2002 that could be read but not deleted due to some form of corruption. Once converted to Unicode they deleted no problem at all. I have an Ansi to Unicode converter exe that you could try on a copy of the old file. It is a bought and paid for product that had good reviews and I certainly found it to be easy to use and worth every cent of the money I paid. He'll need to either delete heaps of files or make the conversion to Unicode anyway if he wants to keep on adding to that PST file. I'll email a copy if you want to try it, just PM an address to send it to. Cheers Billy 8-{) |
