1153261	2010-11-16 02:30:00	Cant say I like the re-badged 5850!! 6850 aren't rebadged 5850s. Its a new architecture and 6800s are slower than the corresponding 5800s. The 5800 replacements are the 6900s, coming out early December.	utopian201 (6245)
1153262	2010-11-16 02:41:00	So the 955 isn't really that bad just not the best. I'd assume that it would probably be better to get a AMD 955 + 6870 than get i5 760 + 6850. Also as I am coming from using a really crappy laptop I was given by my much older brother (he had no use for it) anything will be better than that.	Yukrato (14866)

1153264	2010-11-16 02:55:00	Okay, well my monitor is 1920x1080, as you asked. I should hopefully be able to get a Gigabyte 6850 for $308 or a Galaxy GTX 460 for $303. Though the GTX 460 uses 2 6-pin cables and the AMD 6850 uses only 1, thats why I decided the 6850. The Gigabyte card will be better quality than the Galaxy, however, the GTX460 has better tessellation than the 6850, which in all fairness is just a slower 5770 evergreen chip.... Start clocking them both and the performance gap will expand in favour of the GTX!	SolMiester (139)

Actually I got the wrong chip, its evergreen 5770 rebadged!...the new chip 69xx is delayed! 68xx series are 90% Evergreen\Cypress, its NOT new architecture at all!	SolMiester (139)
