So, just before that is good - relatively speaking. | 884470 | 2010-05-13 05:34:00 | I would expect that the lift would not have exactly freefall, there must be some friction, even if it's just air. so you wolud have some small force on the floor of the lift, this means that you could jump. lets assume you could jump at the exact right time.(which is never going to happen) you will only slow down by the speed you can jump at, so after a fall of 10 floors your jump will only slow you down by about 5% of the total. this assumes you can jump half a floor up. so with out doing the exact math... very fast - 5% = splat. |

What happens and what would you do if you were in that position? Well, since I have time to think about it beforehand, and it's obvious that I'd die, I'd try to die in the most spectacular fashion. I'd probably do a handstand, and try to snap my neck with the force. :D |
