1152366 2010-11-13 00:51:00 I had a NVIDIA GeForce 6200LE 128L Video card which is a crap video card and I took it out and put in a Radeon HD3650 Video card into a AMD 3800 Computer and it slowed it down by 10 folds and just froze the computer and I had to put the old card back. Should I have deleted the NVIDIA Video drivers first before putting the Radeon card in or it just won't work? lostsoul62 (16011)
1152367 2010-11-13 01:04:00 It probably defaulted to the on board video. Did it come up with a "New hardware found" dialog box? If so, download the drivers for your Radeon, then put the Radeon back in and try again, with the downloaded drivers. pine-o-cleen (2955)
1152368 2010-11-13 01:33:00 Yup. Download the new Radeon driver, uninstall the old Nvidia driver, shutdown the PC, remove the old card, put in the new card, start it up and than install the new Radeon driver. Hope this helps. ronyville (10611)

2. Use a program called Driver Sweeper (www.guru3d.com) to remove any remaining Nvidia driver components
3. Install the HD3650
4. install ATI Catalyst drivers (you can get them at game.amd.com)
