1457715 2019-01-28 02:47:00 I've enjoyed watching the Black Caps v Sri Lanka and now India but it's not broadcast on NZ TV. I've had to watch it via a Sky website. I use Chromecast to put it up on the TV and have enjoyed watching the cricket, although the Black Caps have not done too well against India.

If you are keen and would like to watch the cricket, go to cric1.com

The URL says Sri Lanka but it is the Sky website for all games. Give it a try.

1457716 2019-01-28 04:02:00 Why would they broadcast it for free when that’s about the only thing sky has left? psycik (12851)

Well, even though you may think that Sky would not broadcast it for free, it's certainly available on that URL. I'm watching it now.

I think under NZ law it is, but can't recall the technicalities. Something along the lines of not being allowed to access a sky broadcast without using sky or without skys permission

1457720 2019-01-29 02:04:00 The number of people who wish to watch NZ cricket is limited. I am not surprised it is not broadcast. CliveM (6007)

A lot of people in NZ are interested in T20 and one day but test matches have a very limited following judging by the crowds.

1457722 2019-01-31 20:31:00 I love going to test matches. It's just that work wouldn't be happy with me taking 3 - 5 days off work the_bogan (9949)
1457723 2019-01-31 20:56:00 In Australia, when I’ve been there, any Sport involving their National Team went Free to Air.

I think it was John Howard legislated when he was Prime Minister.
