1457643 2019-01-27 00:22:00 This is why - and this is coming to everywhere soon ----> not good, not good at all and not right!~ The lack of authority, PC over-awareness and the lack of respect for the law all come to a singularity right here....... this too, will end..............

1457644 2019-01-27 02:33:00 Sure, guns in the hands of everyone solved the violence problem in the US didn't it.

No-one gets bashed, shot, raped, hurt anymore.

They're all peaceful citizens and the cops themselves are marvellous.

1457645 2019-01-27 03:24:00 Did you even go to the link? There's the US's reaction to the cops getting a beatdown.

I think one of the most important bricks fell off the wall when I read that article. We all admire the UK cops and their staunch refusal to carry firearms... at least as far as we know.

It's like something has died now. I feel sorry that it happened, as do most of the US - with very few holdouts.

Sure - firearms are NOT the answer, but as a tool of people who care and want a cop to stay on a platform that garners respect and adulation, this revelation comes as a shock to me and I know so many people perceive this as a bellwether to things that are going very murky indeed.

I watch a TV show on Netflix that presents the Canadian cops and how they handle their interactions with the drunken unruly people who they need to haul in for a dry-out or to take them in for jumping bail.

The bad guys, almost all of them, obey the cops and I rarely see a drawn firearm. The bad guys go along and they seem to change persona as soon as the cops show up. Interesting that the cops get that much respect even from drunks.

THAT'S what I was going for here --- not a diatribe on the use of firearms in the US. It's sad that force has to be countered with bigger force. That's pretty much it in a nutshell.

You - OTOH - are always ready to draw my blood. Shame on you.

1457646 2019-01-27 04:23:00 Struth, cars and trucks have killed a lot more people than guns, so I suppose we should ban cars and trucks?

But hey, they must of caught some, so HERE (www.dropbox.com) is the prize.

Next time we’ll take you horse riding afterwards, nothing faster than a trot. ;)

Another problem solved! :)

1457647 2019-01-27 07:04:00 I read some of the posts on that Glock forum Joe. It would seem the average Glock owner has no clues as to what happens across the pond. It is sad that it happened but when you have the EU insisting on unlimited free movement of refugees through Europe to England what do you expect. gary67 (56)

Yeah... sad and sometimes fatal.

If I get a chance tomorrow, I'll try to write a paragraph or two about it for you. Right now it's late and my brain corpuscles are fried.
