1457466 2019-01-21 01:37:00 Now that I have my ''seniors mobile phone" all set up, I was wondering what to do with the old model.
It's actually quite a decent Samsung smartphone but I was just getting tired of struggling to answer calls & making pocket calls.
I got the Vodafone shop to transfer the number across to the new one but it still has a 2degrees sim inside with about $20 credit on it.
I asked the Vodafone person if she could transfer the unused number to my old mobile. She looked at me sideways & suggested I talk to 2degrees about that.
I haven't done that but was wondering if it was possible.

1457467 2019-01-21 02:43:00 You can transfer the cellphone number to another provider . but
The original number on the new voda cellphone may have been relinquished back to the pool of free numbers

Honestly, not worth the hassle . If you want to use the old ph, just buy another sim card for it. Can be as low as $5 sometimes .

1457468 2019-01-21 02:45:00 What?
Normally you take the sim (or get a new one if it won't fit or a different provider) and that is used on the new phone.
The old phone then has nothing.

Sell it on trademe.

Hi there,

Could you send over some pics? I'm interested (old stuff geek). I've just seen several Samsung models on Gumtree, but not sure about the shipping from Australia.
Thanks.
