1455555 2018-11-12 00:01:00 Can anyone tell me how I can find out if I have a upgrade or full version of Windows 7 on my computer? lostsoul62 (16011)
1455556 2018-11-12 00:32:00 If the PC is working on W7, open a CMD box , type in slmgr -dli <press Enter> wait a few moments and a window will open ( can sometimes take a minute or two) it will have the info as to whats installed. wainuitech (129)

I don't understand your answer. If you are talking about a store bought PC I didn't know anyone on this site bought one.

1455560 2018-11-12 04:16:00 Its showing Retail, so basically you can transfer it to another PC, OEM doesn't have upgrades.

Licences sold through FPP are either full licences or upgrade licences. A full licence does not require any pre-existing versions of the software to be on the machine it is installed on, whereas an upgrade licence allow you to cost effectively upgrade to a newer version of software that you are already licensed for.

See the following for details on the versions.
