| 1455490 | 2018-11-10 20:22:00 | Brother has a new Canon printer scaner copier , Model PIXMA (TS6100 series) Unable to find a scanner gear driver to work with Linux mint 18. At all, cable or wifi. it won't detect, not any of the scangearmps nor simple scan nor sane via terminal. Tried mine (Canon MB2160) and that works fine via cable but won't show on wifi. He can see mine as printer just fine via wifi so we're out of ideas on the scan part. |

| 1455494 | 2018-11-11 06:57:00 | I know you are anti Windows these days but does the printer combo actually work on Windows | gary67 (56) | ||
| 1455495 | 2018-11-11 07:30:00 | He doesn't have Windows. He has an android phone and the scanner can't be seen on that, nor his Linux laptop, nor his Linux PC. Print does..which is why we tried via cable but you can't get it to see it that way either. His old Canon (print/scan) worked fine on all devices. |

| 1455497 | 2018-11-11 19:52:00 | No it does not. It prints, it does not scan, it is not detected no matter what we try with scan. Never mind, Geekzone had some more useful help. |
