| 1454845 | 2018-10-24 00:52:00 | I'm on the same version of Windows, and my MalwareBytes is running fine. A few days ago they offered a free upgrade to a newer version (which I've taken). Do you know if yours updated? If you can't uninstall, try just reinstalling over the top of the copy you've got and see what happens. |

| 1454846 | 2018-10-24 00:54:00 | Additional... I see that you've got both Avast AND Malwarebytes installed. It's a good chance Avast is obstructing the installation of Malwarebytes. You normally need only one or the other. Not both of them. | Paul.Cov (425) | ||
| 1454847 | 2018-10-24 01:30:00 | i have the upgraded version of Malwarebytes, but i only use it for additional system scans, not the two working at the same time. It had been running OK up till now, and has now crashed without warning |

| 1454848 | 2018-10-24 16:59:00 | Just btw., and I probably should've sent this -just- in a PM - Avast! can be disabled via the tray right-click menu... You know, without having to uninstall it, to see if it may help (probably not). Worst-case scenario, since it (most probably) won't, suddenly, "start working" again: you could try to run a SFC scan to "repair" your Windows system files. EDIT: Oh, apparently (!), this is some kind of a common error, or something?!?? answers.microsoft.com As stated, Apparently, the Qt5core.dll was a part of the Mbam program. I uninstalled the program, downloaded it again, reinstalled the program and the problem is gone. |
