1455041 2018-12-09 05:13:00 I am very happy with Windows 10.
I ahve had it on two PC's since it came out.
I have got every update.
Not one problem so far.

Sometimes people have old or strange machines.
Millions of people use it.

There are always Luddites or people that don't try to fix things.

The sooner everyone is on Windows 10, the better off they will be, and we will all be.

1455042 2018-12-09 05:22:00 My point is that I shouldn't have to waste my time trying to fix things that Microsoft should.

. That would be a true enough comment if it happened on EVERY Windows 10 install but it DOESN't. Which means you could be doing something that's causing it.

I know of one person whose USB drives always corrupt, I saw exactly what he was doing to cause it, but he wont listen to the truth when I advised of why its happening.

None of my W10's or hundreds of others I seen have had this problem.

The biggest problem these days is some people want to be spoon fed and cant do basic tasks. Do you know how many people turn off their PC by simply switching it off at the wall instead of shutting down correctly THEN go blaming the OS for getting damaged. ?

Even MS cant protect against some actions users do.

Simple Solution, If you don't want to use Windows then Don't.

Ahem. Why?
I am quite happy with Mint thanks.
No intentions of Win10.

Sh!te Digby, there are also some people who try to fix everything toooo.

wai has mentioned in the past about that thing in the bottom r/h corner, which is where my laptop was in the dark about it being a notepad or not.

As an aside, the motor mower catcher release spring anchor came apart, the rivet was not hammered home far enough, I couldn't fix it and son-in-law pottered around for half an hour and managed to get the right tension and we used a split-pin this time to anchor it.

Grandson mows the lawns now, so things have to be secure, in case OSH gets in on the act.

We thank wai for his time an effort in fixing our computer problems and would be lost without his input on here. Thanks wai.
